The request refers to an object that no longer exists or have existed.
Operation failed since another task is in progress.
remove snapshot hung while it was being committed.
The guest would not respond to a shutdown command. It would display the error "operation failed since another task is in progress"
I attempted to run the #guestname.vmx removesnapshots command that failed to work.
Ran a "service mgmt-vmware restart"
then ran the esx command #guestname.vmx removesnapshots again and it work after quite a while of waiting. 20minutes.
